Chouriço de Vinho (literally, wine sausage) is a traditional Portuguese sausage. It is prepared with smoked and cured beef and pork in a straight form. The ingredients also include wine, as the name suggests, and various spices, according to ancient recipes. It is used in fast food and other modern cuisine in general. A popular dish using this sausage is favas com chouriço (beans with chouriço).
