Cacholeira is a Portuguese sausage, from the Upper Alentejo. It looks like a morcela , but lighter in color, due to the use of pig's liver as a binder, instead of blood. Its name comes from the word cachola (meaning nut), which is used to designate the liver of the pig.

Among its ingredients include pieces of kidney, spleen, bacon, and various spices. It is often used as a complement to the dish known as cozido alentejano.
